Sammy Lerma III, M.D. grew up in Eagle Pass, Texas. He earned his Bachelors of Arts in Biology at The University of Texas at Austin and his Medical Degree at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his Family Practice Residency at Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Lerma had experience in both minor emergency medicine and family medicine in Corpus Christi and Eagle Pass, Texas before moving his Private Family Medicine Practice to Bastrop County in 2004.
Suzanne Cockrell, RN, FNP grew up in Elgin, Texas. She earned her Associates of Applied Science degree from Austin Community College and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas . She has worked as a nurse for the past 8 years in preoperative, home health, and case management specialties. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. She completed this program with training in women's health, pediatrics, urgent care, and family practice specialties. She graduated with high honors and a 4.0 GPA. She has lived in Bastrop since 2002 and loves to serve in her community.
Elizabeth Brown, RN, FNP is from Austin, Texas. She earned her Diploma in Nursing from Baptist Health Systems School of Nursing and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She has worked as a nurse since 2006 specializing in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, ICU, and home health nursing. She completed the Masters of Science in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner specialty at the University of Texas at Arlington with summa cum laude honors. She completed this program with training in geriatrics, women's health, pediatrics, urgent care, and family practice specialties.
